Your attorney HAS to reply to your inquiries. It is stated in every State's BAR website. Otherwise, you have right to make a complaint that stays with the BAR records forever. BAR has to publish it to anyone who asks for information about that attorney. Attorneys do not want that.
We were in a similar situation. We sent an e-mail and left a voicemail saying something like: "In our point of view, a reasonable time for you to reply to our inquiries is 3 business days. If you do not call us and let us know another reasonable period of time for a reply period immediately, we will assume that you will reply to our inquiries and/or let us know the information about our case coming from USCIS in three days".
I guess we are learning this country's ways.

how can it be free..when you pay 25/month?
I have vonage service since two years and i am paying 24.99/m since two years for unlimited US, canada and europe. They just added india in the international calling list so isn't it free? I am not paying anything extra for calling to india. I have been with vonage for quality and it is personal choice about which service you use and how much you pay for that. It all depends on usage and how much we spend on calling cards or calls to india. If you spend more than $25 on calling to india than this is a great plan if you have internet connection at home.

Any thoughts about this one? I ask because I am not sure whether they send 1 receipt notice, 1 finger print notice for the entire family, or whether they send one for each applicant.

US court already clearly given vertict to BS+5 years alone itsef qualify for EB2. It was a major ruling against INS.
US educated (or holding master degree) is no way superior than holding BS+5 years experience if job requires more experience . Similarly BS+5 years is no way superior than MS, if job requires absolutly Masters degree (like research).. So dont compare each other, as each has its own merits. Education and experience cannot replace each other.
However, One can send a petition to DOL/USCIS to deny the second LC/140 application if an employer files two LC/I-140 for a single person (same employer -same beneficiary) for a similar kind of job, just to help the employee to line jump from EB3 to EB2. This may work to stop abusing the system.

Hello,
I have heard of the TERM 'Interfiling' to port your priority date from EB3
to EB2. This i hear happens when your 485 is pending with USCIS and
you have an EB2 labour with current PD date. So you transfer the PD using Interfiling.
Any one any thoughts or have you done this ?

I think we are assuming that this will continue to be the case through Oct 2010. What if DOL changes policies with PERM approval tomorrow or the economy starts improving by March? EB2 ROW is current and there will be quite a few PERM's from them which will be adjusted immediately. We'll have to wait till the Sep results are in and the data is adjusted with 2005 EB2 numbers. Hopefully all < 2005 should be taken care of for EB2.

We have sent 2 magicjack's to India, one at my parents and one at in-laws....they need to have a computer and high speed internet access there. For the first yr it is costing us $40 per yr each and starting 2nd year it will cost us $20 per yr each. They call us all the time now and calls are crystal clear and you can't beat $40/year price.

Remember: NumbersUSA faxed the senate offices one million times when CIR was being considered. We have to do more than them this time, as they are twisting the facts (Same way Mr. Dobbs of CNN does): Here is a quote from Numbers USA website:
